I went to this location with my wife so she could take her U.S. Citizenship interview/test. For people who live in Oakland county, this is a really convenient location compared to having to go to Detroit. I was impressed with how well the USCIS is organized, this process was very quick and completed in under 1 hour. My wife met with a lady who was very nice and professional. With everything you see and hear in the news these days we wondered how this was going to go and it could not have been any better than it was, she passed. No one tried to make this difficult. Just for reference (it may not be the same for you), my wife applied for U.S. Citizenship in July of 2025, this appointment was scheduled in November of 2025 and she attended the final Oath Ceremony and became a U.S. Citizen at the Theodore Levin courthouse in Detroit in February of 2026.
Incredibly polite , respectful, and professional staff. Kudos to this field office!
Really good experience. Everyone was super polite. Office is very clean and organized. Getting through security was quick. The officer who interviewed us was extremely professional, helpful, and polite. Everything took maybe 40 minutes from start to finish. High praise to everyone working here.
Im just back from my citizenship test with Mrs. Dakrub and i had to make sure i give my review of her and for the pleasurable experience i had with her. She has so much sympathy and a good way of maintaining the ambient calm and making the experience less stressful, for that I am thankful. I can only hope many of you have the same experience and are lucky enough to sit with her.
I had such a great experience at this location. From the security to the person helping me with my biometrics everyone was so nice and a pleasure to have handling my case. After going through security and waiting in line to check in for my appointment, the biometrics probably took 5 minutes total. It can be nerve wrecking to come to places like this and I was so happy when I left after all the employees being so nice and helpful. Thank you so much!
