I had a great experience here. From the moment I walked in, the security team was respectful, friendly, and very organized. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and stress-free. My interviewing officer was extremely professional, patient, and genuinely kind. She explained everything clearly and made the experience comfortable.

My USCIS officer was very professional, kind, and empathetic. He listened carefully, made me feel respected, and handled my case with compassion. A stressful process turned into a positive experience thanks to his understanding.

All staff was friendly and professional. My only issue the monitor did not show what number is next, so you have to pay attention for when they call. And thank you agent Bennett, she conducted the interview smooth and professional

I had a truly positive experience at this. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. I was impressed how smoothly everything was handled right from interviews to oath ceremonies. A special thank you to Officer Connor, who was so sweet and compassionate during my interview. She really took the time to make me feel comfortable and at ease, and I can't express how much that meant to me. Her calm and friendly demeanor helped turn a tense situation into a manageable and even encouraging experience. In all the excitement, I actually forgot my bag at the office, and to my relief, the staff had safely held onto it for me. Their honesty and care really speak volumes about the integrity of the team working there. Thank you to everyone at this office.

I had a positive experience at the USCIS Field Office in Tampa for my naturalization interview. Parking was easy to find, and after going through security I was greeted by a very polite and welcoming receptionist who immediately put me at ease. I was given a number and waited in the waiting area, which was fairly crowded. My interview started about 10 minutes past the scheduled time and lasted around 30 minutes. Everyone I interacted with was professional, courteous, and efficient. After the interview, I was scheduled for the oath ceremony, which took place within 90 minutes. From what I observed, they hold two oath ceremonies a day. Overall, the process was smooth and well managed.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

USCIS field offices handle in-person appointments including green card interviews, naturalization interviews and oath ceremonies, and requests for evidence. Here's what to know:

Arrive at least 30 minutes early. Bring your appointment notice (Form I-797C) and a valid government-issued photo ID.
You'll go through security screening at the entrance — metal detectors and bag checks. Leave prohibited items in your car.
Cell phones are permitted but must remain on silent throughout your visit.
Wait times vary from 10 minutes to over an hour. Bring water and something to read.
Bring all original documents referenced in your application — the officer may ask to review them.
