This is a special thank you to Officer Floyd. My wife was very anxious in her interview, but you were patient, professional, and kind, which helped her to relax and be more herself. I even hear you two laughed a few times! Thank you Officer Floyd for what you do, and for doing a great job while doing it. Because of you, my wife had a very pleasant experience.

I recently went to those offices and the officers are very attentive, professional and respectful, very good people, the offices have a good atmosphere and the treatment in general is very good

Attended a swearing in ceremony for the first time at the immigration office. I loved seeing how excited the staff was for all the new citizens, especially security officer Will Whitaker. He was incredibly helpful with everyone attending. Plus, you could tell he really loves his job. He was genuinely happy for everyone on this big day. It’s refreshing to see an employee excited and actively acknowledging how important this is for everyone there.

It is very stressful and overwhelming to go in there and go through the process but once your in the officers are very nice and understanding they do their best to get you what you need or you want to be just have to be patient and work with them!

Have been here twice and had a really positive experience both times. Recently went during the summer daze and had to spend a couple hours in the early morning. Unfortunately it was a busy morning so the buildings air-conditioning wasnt holding up well, but other than this there was plenty of seating, and the building is well maintained and staffed. The staff are really kink and honestly they are super helpful and friendly, they make sure you know where your going. You will need to go through the security door first, and then the guard usually directs you on where to go.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

USCIS field offices handle in-person appointments including green card interviews, naturalization interviews and oath ceremonies, and requests for evidence. Here's what to know:

Arrive at least 30 minutes early. Bring your appointment notice (Form I-797C) and a valid government-issued photo ID.
You'll go through security screening at the entrance — metal detectors and bag checks. Leave prohibited items in your car.
Cell phones are permitted but must remain on silent throughout your visit.
Wait times vary from 10 minutes to over an hour. Bring water and something to read.
Bring all original documents referenced in your application — the officer may ask to review them.
