ICE is detaining people seeking due process of the law here. Stay away. If a USCIS rep tells you any part of the process must be in person, refuse them. -and tell them exactly why you are.
Excellent and efficient experience! Me and my husband came here for a green card interview for him. Our officer was super sweet! And everyone of the staff members were genuinely impressive and nice! We were in and out within less than an hour and the interview itself was pretty quick. Honestly if you come here just know you’re in good hands.
They are EXTREMELY awesome here! I’ve came here for immigration permanent residency interview, the officer that interviewed me and my wife was super sweet and awesome. Rather than making it all formal and grilling us with the scripted questions, she just spoke to us like we were her friends, got to know us and within minutes she figured out we are wasting our time here in federal plaza and we should go and celebrate that I passed my green card interview! We were there for maybe 40 minutes in total which includes the check in at the entrance, waiting to be called, etc… the process was very efficient. Staff was super nice even at the front and entrance too, and the place is spot less! I swear and I know this is funny, but they have the cleanest bathrooms in the city lol All and all of you have a green card interview like I did or something else, just be aware you’re in the right hands and people here actually care.
I wanna give 4 stars not because of the interview or immigration officer because he is a cool person and he made us comfortable during the interview. It’s the security, a short old guy. If he did not treat us like we illiterate i would give 5 stars. He told us to push the door in angry voice when there is a large sign of do not push. Then he asked everyone to go on a line, we are still moving to go on a line he already asked, hurry up! you don’t understand English? Hopefully he will be a little kind because we are all humans.
Very nice environment, officers were helpful. If you ask something they answer very nicely unlike some other govt office, but the lady who took my civics test she was little rude not a big deal tho. Like very little. Cause i guess she was doing same thing again and again since morning thats why i guess. But it was okay.
