Blue building in photos is the building that houses the USCIS Milwaukee Field Office as of this review. Office is on the 8th floor. Street parking for a fee, there are some parking garages nearby but we were lucky to find a parking space right by entrance. Staff was friendly. Appointment was prompt.

Came in to help my dad and all the security in entrance were nice except one older security dude who talked smart after i asked a question so i turned it around on him and he looked stunned. If it wasn't for this older gent would definitely be given 5 stars.

I have had a great experience with USCIS and the Milwaukee office. Everything was always easy and prompt without any need for lawyers, everyone always friendly and professional, from the security guards to the clerks and officers. It cannot be easy to handle so many 'clients' from everywhere in the world, with all levels of English language and intelligence. I'm impressed they do such a good job. Only thing that sucked was that my spouse and child (both born US citizens) were not allowed to enter the building for my interview, not even to just wait inside, and then it was impossible to find out whether they would be allowed to enter for the ceremony. This was late 2023. Nothing on the website, could not reach anybody on a phone, the website chat is laughably pathetic, and no mention of it on the paper notices mailed to me. The ceremony wasn't much either. Quite nice and simple, and everybody nice, but did not feel special enough. Overall though, I'm happy with the professionalism of this office and USCIS in general. Good job!

What to Expect at Your Appointment

USCIS field offices handle in-person appointments including green card interviews, naturalization interviews and oath ceremonies, and requests for evidence. Here's what to know:

Arrive at least 30 minutes early. Bring your appointment notice (Form I-797C) and a valid government-issued photo ID.
You'll go through security screening at the entrance — metal detectors and bag checks. Leave prohibited items in your car.
Cell phones are permitted but must remain on silent throughout your visit.
Wait times vary from 10 minutes to over an hour. Bring water and something to read.
Bring all original documents referenced in your application — the officer may ask to review them.
