They were very helpful. Don't being any weapons, no nail clippers. No battery phone chargers, no ear buds or ear pods. Don't forget your government IDs driver's license, military IDs, and or passports. Read the requirements on your USCIS documents.

Had my naturalization interview today. Everyone was so nice, since the first interaction at the door, making me feel at ease, joking. My adjudicating officer was extremely kind and I’m thankful for these people for treating us so kindly

I had my naturalization (N-400) interview at the USCIS Jacksonville Field Office and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The officers at the entrance, the check-in staff, and the immigration officer who interviewed me were all extremely kind, respectful, and professional. The facility is clean, well organized, and very quiet, which creates a calm and reassuring environment. Five stars without a doubt. Thank you for such a positive and smooth experience.

From the moment I stepped into the office, I was greeted with professionalism and warmth. The officer “Perez”took the time to explain the process clearly. The officer's knowledge and expertise were evident as they handled my case efficiently, ensuring that everything was in order. I felt reassured knowing that my application was in such capable hands. Thank you again “Perez” best USCIS experience ever . I receive my green card super fast 🫡

What to Expect at Your Appointment

USCIS field offices handle in-person appointments including green card interviews, naturalization interviews and oath ceremonies, and requests for evidence. Here's what to know:

Arrive at least 30 minutes early. Bring your appointment notice (Form I-797C) and a valid government-issued photo ID.
You'll go through security screening at the entrance — metal detectors and bag checks. Leave prohibited items in your car.
Cell phones are permitted but must remain on silent throughout your visit.
Wait times vary from 10 minutes to over an hour. Bring water and something to read.
Bring all original documents referenced in your application — the officer may ask to review them.
