2 hour waiting despite having an appointment is not even acceptable in any way. Also, short little security guard at the entrance needs to learn some manners before he comes across someone who won’t put up with him.

Zero Star. Prolonged Delay. 2+ hours after appointment. Broken water fountain. Horrendous staff. Nothing positive.

I had a very upsetting experience at this USCIS location. The staff member I interacted with was unprofessional and disrespectful. They mocked my accent, made condescending comments such as “Are you OK ma’am?” in a rude way, and treated both myself and my children aggressively. To make matters worse, they assumed I was from the same region as one of the security staff, which was not only inappropriate but also discriminatory. This type of behavior is unacceptable, especially from an office that serves the public and handles sensitive immigration matters. I hope management takes this seriously and ensures staff are trained to treat all applicants with respect and professionalism.

It’s an immigration office. Some of the people who work here are very nice. Others not so much. But the fact that some of the people are nice here means it is very above average as far as immigration offices go. I appreciate those people, you make this office and the world a little better. I hope they’re blessed.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

USCIS field offices handle in-person appointments including green card interviews, naturalization interviews and oath ceremonies, and requests for evidence. Here's what to know:

Arrive at least 30 minutes early. Bring your appointment notice (Form I-797C) and a valid government-issued photo ID.
You'll go through security screening at the entrance — metal detectors and bag checks. Leave prohibited items in your car.
Cell phones are permitted but must remain on silent throughout your visit.
Wait times vary from 10 minutes to over an hour. Bring water and something to read.
Bring all original documents referenced in your application — the officer may ask to review them.
