USCIS Edinburg Field Office

AI is not doing it's job. It asked me what I wanted, I said what I needed, it would just go around my question, and then say I wasn't ready. It was annoying, frustrating, and upsetting. I just wanted to speak to a real person regarding a serious matter.

Very friendly and helpful with information

This office is located in Edinburg, Texas, and it's very clean, the security guards are very attentive and nice. The guard I asked for information when I got there was very kind as was the last one I asked where the exit door was. Oh, and the lady at the window made me feel very welcome. My process went smoothly. The Officers are very professional. Five stars because I can't give them more. Thank you for your service to the immigrant community.

Worst thing we as people can do. "Emma" can't help at all. It keeps threatening you that it is going to hang up if you ask to speak with a live agent. This is frustrating I call and call and it keeps on hanging up on me. I can't even get an appointment scheduled at my local office because it hangs up on me. When are we going to actually speak with a person not an AI that is still limited in options and can't understand the importance of the information that we are trying to receive. We as people need human interaction someone that has emotions and understanding.

This place is great. We had an appointment for 9:30 AM. We arrived around 8:45 AM. There was not really any people there except staff and one or two others. The security is really tight, but I didn't mind. They are just doing their job and making sure everyone is safe! We got sent back out to our car because we had a few items they don't allow that we didn't know about (we had never been inside a government building this strict) like my electronic cigarette and a pocket knife I completely had forgotten about. We got through the second attempt with no issues. The security team was extremely polite and patient. Moving on to our appointment, the lady that serviced us was very polite and funny, and quick! She took us right in regardless that we were pretty early. We were done in about eight minutes flat! It was not even nine o'clock yet! The place is very clean, and staff is amazing. We even saw one of the security team using that long mirror to look under cars in the parking lot.
