Try to get information as to what and how to get forms for child born in another country to become US citizen. W parent being a US citizen: You phone selection is ridiculous.

I wish to express my deepest gratitude for the professional and inspiring naturalization ceremony that was held in Anchorage. First, I extend my thanks to the Judge who swore us in as new citizens. Your words carried dignity and encouragement, making this moment unforgettable. We also thank President Donald J. Trump for his remarkable message: “We are one people, chasing one dream, and one magnificent destiny.” These words inspired us as we embraced our new role as U.S. citizens. Finally, I would like to recognize the USCIS Director and his outstanding team. The event was well-coordinated, respectful, and uplifting from start to finish. Every detail reflected care and professionalism. Thank you for making this milestone in our lives so meaningful. It is a day we will cherish forever. With gratitude, God bless America and you all. 🇺🇸❤️

Hi I have really important question. I tried to chat with emma (which was not really helpful), called the local number and wanted to ask questions that sure cannot find in the USCIS website, I was only talking to AI on the phone. Can I go to the office and walk in just to ask questions? It doesnt show online the operating hours or if i can do appointment for inquiry only. Not sure is walk in is even possible. I tried to send an INQUIRY through email, but I received no response as well. Anybody knows any information about timings and walk in experience? Thanks

My experience at the Anchorage field office was very good! The security guard at the entrance was friendly. My IO was really nice. As I was nervous, he made me feel at ease. He explained the whole citizenship interview process clearly. He was very professional and at the end I was completely relaxed.

They make it impossible to speak with anyone. USCIS in general makes it impossible to speak with someone. EMMA on the website does not make ANYTHING work for our situation so we get absolutely no where! And if something goes wrong with paper work updates aren’t given so you sit wondering. For the past 3 years of waiting for a green card ALWAYS every time it’s because we never received messages, emails, or even paper work in the mail! And we’ll never know either

What to Expect at Your Appointment

USCIS field offices handle in-person appointments including green card interviews, naturalization interviews and oath ceremonies, and requests for evidence. Here's what to know:

Arrive at least 30 minutes early. Bring your appointment notice (Form I-797C) and a valid government-issued photo ID.
You'll go through security screening at the entrance — metal detectors and bag checks. Leave prohibited items in your car.
Cell phones are permitted but must remain on silent throughout your visit.
Wait times vary from 10 minutes to over an hour. Bring water and something to read.
Bring all original documents referenced in your application — the officer may ask to review them.
