In My Words
I became involved in U.S. immigration during my law school careers, when I began working for Catholic Charities Legal Immigration Services in Charleston, SC. I helped people who were victims of crimes and were separated from their families. It was one of the most rewarding experiences ever, and I soon learned that this was the area of law in which I wanted to practice. I continue to feel those rewards today when I can help our clients receive immigration benefits that are so meaningful to their lives.
